We're recruiting a Dental Nurse Trainee to join our friendly and supportive private dental practice in Upper Heyford. This position is ideal for someone who has recently enrolled on a Dental Nursing course or is planning to start one and wants to gain practical experience in a busy clinical environment.
The practice is located in Oxfordshire, serving patients across Upper Heyford, Bicester, Banbury, Kidlington, Oxfordshire, and the surrounding areas. The practice is family-run and is committed to delivering a relaxed, welcoming, and personalised experience for every patient.
We focus on delivering high-quality dentistry within a welcoming, modern, and technology-led clinical environment. The practice places strong emphasis on patient comfort, minimally invasive dentistry, preventative care, ethical treatment planning, clinical excellence, infection control, and long-term oral health.
No previous dental experience is necessary. We're looking for someone with enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and a genuine interest in patient care.

Responsibilities:
As part of the clinical team, your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Supporting patients throughout their visit to the practice
Cleaning and sterilising instruments and equipment
Working closely with colleagues across both the clinical and reception teams
Preparing treatment rooms before patient appointments
Maintaining excellent infection prevention and cross-contamination standards
Assisting dentists and hygienists during a variety of dental procedures
Helping ensure clinics run efficiently throughout the day
Recording and updating patient information accurately
