We are recruiting on behalf of an established children's care provider for an experienced

Deputy Manager

to join the leadership team of an

Ofsted-registered children's home in Hove . This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker, Team Leader or Deputy Manager to progress their career within a supportive organisation committed to delivering outstanding care and positive outcomes for children and young people. Working closely with the Registered Manager, you'll help lead the home, support the staff team and ensure children receive the highest standard of care in a safe, stable and nurturing environment. Key Responsibilities

Support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day management of the home. Lead, motivate and develop the residential care team. Ensure high standards of safeguarding, care and regulatory compliance. Oversee care plans, risk assessments and children's documentation. Support recruitment, inductions, supervision and staff development. Build positive relationships with children, families and partner agencies. Participate in the on-call rota and contribute to the smooth running of the service. About You

You'll ideally have: Experience working within an Ofsted-registered children's residential home. Leadership experience as a Senior Residential Support Worker, Team Leader or Deputy Manager. A Level 4 or Level 5 qualification in Health & Social Care (or equivalent), or be working towards one. Strong knowledge of safeguarding practices, Ofsted regulations and children's residential care. Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills. The ability to lead by example and support the development of others. What's on Offer?
