The Role
We are looking for a proactive and dedicated deputy manager, on a 12 month fixed term contract, to help deliver the goals and vision of our high standard supported accommodation service. The service is for 1624-year-olds who have either experienced homelessness or are moving on from a childrens home setting.
The deputy manager will support the service manager in creating and maintaining the necessary structures and culture, to allow the young people and staff team to thrive.
What youll be doing
- Support the staff team in creating a young person centred, transparent and affirmative culture.
- Drive forward on the many plans/goals within the service, e.g. co-production, Advantaged Thinking etc.
- Work with key partners and stakeholders including the Foyer Federation and the Salvation Army Church.
- Ensure the service is compliant with all internal and external procedures/expectations/obligations, including the OFSTED.
- Be part of a 24/7 365 day on-call rota.
- An understanding of supported accommodation and/or youth homelessness.
- Experience leading within a multi-disciplinary team and/or managing/supporting staff in the fulfilment of their roles.
