Job summaryAn exciting opportunity has arisen within our operational team for a Band 8A Deputy Operations Manager to the Clinical Administration Division. The successful candidate will be based at the Royal Papworth Hospital, Cambridge but must be prepared to work and travel to other site at Huntington on a regular basis.The successful candidate will be dynamic and either an experienced manager or aspiring leader with solid operational experience. The role requires you to work closely with operational and clinical colleagues within the triumvirate divisional structure to provide leadership and management of resource, performance and standards of care. We welcome both clinical and non-clinical applicants with strong flow and discharge experience.Main duties of the jobThe successful candidate will lead the Bed Management, Reception, Discharge Specialist nurses, Switchboard and Transport teams, overseeing the provision of safe and effective management of patient flow within the Trust.
