Job Title: Design and Technology Teacher Location: East London Job Type: Daily Supply, Long Term (5 days a week) Pay Rate: £140 - £200 per day Job Overview: Looking for a rewarding role in education? Supply Staff Ltd is seeking a qualified Design and Technology Teacher for a full-time, long-term position or daily supply at a secondary school in East London, covering design, art, and food technology. As a Design and Technology Teacher, you'll inspire students to develop practical, creative, and problem-solving skills across all D&T and creative disciplines. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess student progress, and collaborate with colleagues. The ideal Design and Technology Teacher will hold a PGCE and QTS or QTLS, and early career teachers are welcome to apply. Key Responsibilities: * Plan and deliver engaging Design and Technology Teacher lessons across design, art, and food technology. * Inspire creativity and technical skills in all students across multiple creative subjects. * Assess and monitor student progress in design and technology. * Collaborate with other Design and Technology Teachers and staff. * Support school academic goals and exam preparation. Requirements: * QTS or QTLS certification. * PGCE or equivalent qualification. * Passion for teaching design and technology. * Strong communication and classroom management skills. * Early career teachers are welcome to apply. * Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willing to apply. * Full compliance with standard UK school safeguarding regulations.
