Design Coordinator – Pre-Construction / Civil Engineering Location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + package Type: Permanent, Full-Time Working: Hybrid Frontline Construction Recruitment are working with a leading Tier 1 civil engineering and construction contractor to recruit an experienced Design Coordinator to join their Work-Winning / Pre-Construction team in Milton Keynes. This is an excellent opportunity for a Design Coordinator with experience in civil engineering, construction, infrastructure or groundworks, looking to develop their career within a major contractor. The Role You will support the coordination of design activities across bids and pre-construction projects, working closely with design consultants, engineers, estimators and project teams. Key responsibilities include: Coordinating design information throughout the pre-construction process Supporting bids, tenders and work-winning activities Coordinating consultants and external design teams Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical information Tracking design deliverables and programmes Identifying design issues and supporting their resolution Assisting with buildability and value engineering reviews Ensuring design information is accurate and delivered on time Supporting the transition from pre-construction into project delivery About You We're looking for a Design Coordinator with: Experience within civil engineering, construction or infrastructure Previous design coordination experience Good understanding of construction and design processes Experience working with consultants and design teams Strong organisational and communication skills Good understanding of drawings, specifications and technical information Relevant construction, engineering or design qualification Tier 1 contractor experience would be advantageous Package £50,000 - £60,000 salary Hybrid working Car allowance Private healthcare Pension 26 days holiday + bank holidays Life assurance Additional company benefits Apply now for immediate consideration.
