Design & Sales Consultant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Design & Sales Consultant to join an established premium home-improvement business based in Cardiff. This is a consultative sales role helping homeowners find the right solutions for their properties, from windows and doors through to conservatories, extensions and roofing. Key Responsibilities * Manage company-generated enquiries from initial contact through to consultation, quotation, follow-up and order. * Meet customers in the Cardiff showroom and at properties throughout South Wales. * Understand customer requirements, priorities, style and budget. * Recommend suitable products and design solutions across windows, doors, conservatories, extensions and roofing. * Take accurate initial measurements and prepare professionally presented quotations. * Proactively follow up quotations by telephone and email. * Maintain accurate CRM records and manage your own sales pipeline. * Protect gross margin and work within agreed pricing structures. * Provide accurate handovers to surveying and operations teams. * Develop referrals, repeat business and local relationships. About You Ideally, you will have experience in: * Windows, doors, conservatories or wider fenestration. * Premium home improvements, composite doors or aluminium glazing. * Conservatory, extension or roofing sales. * Selling technically detailed or bespoke products into customers' homes. * Preparing quotations and managing a pipeline over several weeks. You'll need to be: * Confident, personable and trustworthy. * Commercially aware and comfortable discussing price, value and margin. * Highly organised, proactive and confident managing your own pipeline. * A strong communicator with a consultative sales approach. * A full UK driving licence holder and based within reasonable travelling distance of South Wales. What You'll Get * £30,000–£32,000 basic salary, depending on experience.Uncapped commission. * Company-generated leads and showroom enquiries. * Structured product, pricing and systems training. * Joint appointments and practical coaching during your initial period. * Support from experienced sales, surveying, marketing and operations teams. * Genuine opportunity to build a long-term career within an established business.
