Paid to scale (MPS/UPS) or competitive daily rates. Academics is looking to recruit a skilled Design Technology Teacher to work in secondary schools across Bradford. We welcome applications from teachers specialising in Resistant Materials, Product Design, Engineering, Graphics or Construction.
The Role
You will: Teach Design Technology across KS3 and KS4. Deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons. Maintain workshop health and safety standards. Support students with practical coursework and GCSE projects. Assess and monitor student progress. Work collaboratively within the DT department.
Requirements
Applicants should have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Experience teaching Design Technology in UK secondary schools. Strong practical workshop knowledge. Excellent classroom management skills. A commitment to safeguarding and student success.
