Development Officer Watford Salary: £30,000 £35,000 Permanent, 37 hours per week The Vacancy Our client is recruiting a Development Officer to join their Land & New Business team within the Development Directorate.

Their Development Directorate plays a key role in delivering new, high-quality homes for rent and sale across our communities.
Role purpose They're looking for a motivated Development Officer to provide support in the acquisition, feasibility and planning approval process for new build homes.
Assist the Land & Partnerships Team Manager with project work in relation to the delivery of new homes Manage and brief consultants and Joint Venture partners throughout development projects ensuring that agreed standards are met, that they comply with all necessary legislation, and that value for money is achieved.
Provide support to the Development Directorate, in the delivery of new homes, property disposal and new business opportunities.
Essential: Experience in land, new business or development Confident using Microsoft 365 applications, including SharePoint Positive and adaptable, with a willingness to learn Self-motivated, organised and reliable Full UK driving licence and access to a car Desirable: RICS, CIH, CIoB and/or evidence of continuous professional development.
Degree level education or equivalent through relevant training and/or experience.
