DevOps Engineer - 12 month contract - £425/day Inside IR-35 - Remote
We're looking for a DevOps Engineer to join a long-term programme supporting business-critical AWS-hosted platforms operating within a secure environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone making their first move into contracting. You'll be joining an established engineering team where you'll work alongside experienced platform and development engineers, gaining exposure to modern cloud technologies, infrastructure automation and operational support within a large-scale environment.
The role is fully remote and offers the opportunity to work across cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, automation and platform operations.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting and maintaining AWS-hosted infrastructure and platform services
- Working with Terraform to manage Infrastructure as Code
- Supporting Docker-based applications across development, test and production environments
- Assisting with the maintenance and improvement of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Groovy and GitLab
- Monitoring platform performance, availability and reliability
- Troubleshooting infrastructure, deployment and service issues
- Supporting Linux and Windows-based systems
