Following the appointment of a new Chief Digital & Information Officer (CDIO) and internal restructure of our Senior Leadership Team (SLT), Digital & Technology Services (DTS) are seeking an exceptional leader to join us as Director of Digital Engagement & Business Partnering. Reporting directly to the CDIO, this strategic leadership role will shape how DTS partners with Schools, Faculties and Professional Services to deliver digital innovation and transformation across our global university community.


Leading a team of Business Partners, you will work closely with senior stakeholders to co-create digital strategies, develop compelling business cases, secure investment, and ensure the successful delivery of initiatives that support the university's strategic ambitions. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping leaders identify opportunities to leverage technology, data and digital capabilities to improve outcomes for our staff, students and wider community.


As a member of the DTS Senior Leadership Team, you will champion a culture of collaboration, innovation and user-centred thinking, building strong partnerships across our UK, China and Malaysia campuses. You will also play a key role in demand management, prioritisation, governance and benefits realisation, ensuring digital investments deliver measurable value.


We are looking for a credible leader with significant experience of stakeholder engagement, digital transformation, business partnering and leading high-performing teams. Strong influencing skills, commercial awareness and the ability to translate strategy into impactful delivery are essential.
