Dispatch Operative

Job Title: Part-Time Warehouse & Dispatch Assistant Location: Hoddesdon Hours: Part-time (Average 16 hours per week) Company: Empire Manufacturing LTD About Us: We are a small, independent Precision Manufacturing company specialising in high-quality fabrication. We are looking for a reliable individual to support our dispatch and warehouse operations on a flexible, part-time basis. The Role: You will ensure our finished products are safely packed and ready for our customers. This is a hands-on, active role perfect for someone looking for steady part-time hours in a friendly workshop environment. No forklift licence is required. Key Responsibilities: • Pack goods: Securely wrap finished metal items to prevent transit damage. • Handle dispatch: Label shipments accurately and hand over to couriers. • Receive deliveries: Unload incoming stock and check goods against delivery notes. • Organise stock: Keep raw materials and tools stored neatly. • Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, safe, and tidy warehouse space. What We Are Looking For: • Experience: Previous warehouse experience preferred, but not essential. • Attributes: High attention to detail and a reliable, practical mindset. • Fitness: Physically fit and comfortable lifting and moving metal goods. • Skills: Basic computer skills to print labels and check delivery notes.
