Job summary

AGH Solutions Limited is a subsidiary of Airedale NHS Foundation Trust and provides a range of services to the Trust. We have opportunities for reliable, enthusiastic, people centred and caring individuals to join our Domestic Services team

Main duties of the job

  • In line with National Standards of Cleanliness provide a safe, hygienicenvironment for patients and staff
  • To communicate effectively with patients, work colleagues and visitorsthroughout the process of delivery of the service and at all times respecting dignity and confidentiality.
  • To carry out all designated cleaning duties in safe manner using only equipment and materials provided by the department. Compliance with policies and procedures
  • Completion of mandatory training and relevant departmental training.
  • Uses own initiative when carrying out duties on wards and departments to ensure service is provided and standards are met.

Job responsibilities

  • Completion of work records
  • Work completed in line with schedules and timescales
  • Reports any adverse event to line manager and completes on line form
  • Patient satisfaction surveys show no incidents \concerns regarding service
  • No issues raised via PALS
  • To carry out all designated cleaning duties in safe manner using only equipment and materials provided by the department.Compliance with policies and procedures
  • Completion of mandatory training and relevant departmental training.
  • Uses own initiative when carrying out duties on wards and departments to ensure service is provided and standards are met.
