We are seeking an experienced Drainage Operations Manager to lead our operations team, ensuring smooth day-to-day running of projects and excellent service delivery.
Role Overview: As Drainage Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing our team of drainage engineers and tankering operatives, overseeing operations, coordinating projects, and maintaining strong client relationships.
This is a hands-on managerial role focused on efficiency, quality, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of drainage engineers and tankering staff.
Plan, schedule, and assign daily jobs to ensure efficient operations.
Oversee and review quotations for drainage projects.
Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor quality and compliance.
Provide technical guidance and support to the team on complex jobs.
Ensure all work is completed on time, to standard, and within budget.
Manage procurement of parts, equipment, and resources as required.
Maintain strong client relationships through professional communication and service delivery.
Conduct performance reviews, mentor staff, and support their professional development.
Skills and Competencies: Strong leadership and team management skills.
Technical knowledge of drainage systems, tankering, and excavation.
Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
Understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
Essential Requirements: Proven experience in a managerial role within the drainage or tankering industry.
Positive, proactive, and team-focused approach.
Self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
