Job Title: Drainage Surveyor S104 Pre-Adoption Surveys Location: Field-based (projects across Birmingham to Bristol corridor with South Wales coverage) Paid travel Employment Type: Full-time / Permanent Salary: £16.50-£19.00ph dependent on experience About the Role We are seeking an experienced Drainage Surveyor to join our clients growing team, specialising in Section 104 (S104) pre-adoption drainage surveys . You will play a key role in inspecting, assessing, and verifying newly constructed sewer systems prior to adoption by water authorities. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical drainage knowledge, hands-on surveying experience, and a solid understanding of adoptable sewer standards. Key Responsibilities Carry out S104 pre-adoption CCTV drainage surveys and inspections Assess new sewer installations against adoption standards (e.g. water company requirements) Produce accurate, detailed survey reports and defect logs Liaise with developers, contractors, and engineers on-site Identify non-compliance issues and recommend remedial actions Ensure all survey data is correctly recorded and submitted in line with industry standards Operate CCTV drainage equipment and related surveying technology Required Experience & Skills Proven experience as a Drainage Surveyor or CCTV Drainage Technician Strong working knowledge of S104 sewer adoption processes and standards Experience producing high-quality technical reports Competence using CCTV drainage inspection systems and reporting software (e.g. WinCan or similar) Understanding of adoptable sewer construction and defect identification Full UK driving licence Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently on-site Desirable NRSWA Streetworks accreditation Confined Spaces certification CSCS card Experience working with developers or water authority adoption teams What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Company vehicle / Paid travel Ongoing training and development opportunities Supportive and growing technical team Variety of projects across residential and commercial developments How to Apply Please apply within with your CV outlining your S104 experience or call 07441449302 for more information TPBN1_UKTJ
