Drilling Groundworks OperativesThis challenging and exciting opportunity requires individuals with a technical background and demonstrable hands-on experience in the construction, groundworks or drilling sectors.Due to an increase in contract awards, a significant forward order workload, and a dedication to continued profitable, ambitious, and long-term growth, our client is now seeking to appoint a number of experienced Drilling Groundworks Construction Operatives.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of hands-on experience in the above-mentioned sectors.The RoleComply to all company and site specific HSEQ policies at all timesResponsible for rigs, plant, resources, materials other site-based worksAttend to, and successfully carry out, all assigned duties to deliver projects safely and timelyWork with site teams to ensure all works are completed efficiently whilst maintaining high quality standards at all timesProduce site records, such as daily logs, pre-start checks, risk assessments and site reportsThe PersonA demonstrable understanding of site-based groundworks, construction or drilling techniques, with the ability to physically use, handle and operate heavy plant and machineryReading and understanding of site or project specifications and drawingsA good understanding of applying varied techniques appropriate to different sitesAn ability to produce simple reports based on gathering technical information from siteOrganised and effective, and able to plan or schedule your own workloadDependable, reliable, trustworthy and honestPossessing a valid CSCS card and a full UK driving licenceBe prepared to travel and stay away from home if requiredThe ClientOur client is one of the UKs leading specialist contractors, renowned for providing technically advanced and cost-effective solutions across the geotechnical and ground engineering sectors.
