They currently have a need for EDM Machinists This role will use Numeric Controlled Electro Discharge Machines (EDM) to manufacture aerospace components following approved data card instruction. The EDM Machinists will: - ~ Perform EDM operations using a variety of different machines including wiring, sinking and deep hole drilling. Working in conjunction with Manufacturing Engineers and CNC programmer, operate the EDM to meet the daily production targets. Document actions by completing production and quality logs. Assist in solving manufacturing and quality issues utilising root cause and analysis tools Person Specification The EDM Machinists will have: - ~ Previous experience of manufacturing within EDM equipment and controls would be ideal Previous experience of working with CNC based machine equipment is desired The client offers the EDM Machinists a competitive salary, a generous company pension, a varied and interesting workload, lunchtime finish on Fridays, etc.
