Driver / Warehouse Assistant

My client is looking for a reliable Driver / Warehouse Assistant to join a fantastic team based in Welwyn Garden City. This is a great, varied role where you will split your time between warehouse duties and driving a 3.5-tonne van.

The Hours are as follows:

Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 15:30

Friday: 07:30 - 12:00 (enjoy your Friday afternoons off!)

What youll be doing:

Mondays: You'll be based in the warehouse, picking and loading orders for the van fleet, pallet hauliers, and parcel couriers. You'll also help restock the picking shelves and keep the warehouse tidy.

Tuesday to Thursday (and some Fridays): You'll head out on the road, running a local delivery route predominantly supplying supermarkets. Note: Full on-the-job training will be provided for both the warehouse duties and the delivery routes.

Salary & Benefits:

Salary: £28,000K per year

Holiday: 21 days + Bank Holidays. Please note: you will work Good Friday, but the business shuts down over Christmas, so youll use 3 days of your allowance to get a guaranteed, fully paid break over the festive period.
