We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and dedicated leader to oversee the opening of two brand new children's residential homes within Redcar and Cleveland. Operating under a dual registration, you will have the unique opportunity to influence every aspect of service development, from creating positive team cultures and implementing outstanding care practices to preparing both homes for registration and inspection.This is a rare chance to leave a lasting legacy by developing two services that provide exceptional outcomes for children and young people who need stability, support and the opportunity to reach their full potential.About the RoleAs the Dual Registered Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our children’s residential homes located in Redcar and Cleveland.As an experienced manager, you will confidently lead and support dedicated teams, fostering  a safe, positive, and inclusive environment where children and staff can thrive. You will play a key role in establishing and developing this new service, ensuring high-quality care delivery while maintaining full compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements.This is a unique opportunity to help shape and embed best practice across these homes from the outset, ensuring outstanding outcomes for the children and young people we support.What You Need to Be Successful in This RoleEssential:Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) (or equivalent).Minimum of 3 years’ experience in children’s residential care, including at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.In-depth knowledge of safeguarding, Ofsted regulations, and relevant legislation in children’s services.Experience in planning and implementing care plans and maintaining documentation to a high standard in line with Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.Experience supporting children and young people with learning disabilities who may display complex behaviours.Experience leading Ofsted home inspections.DesirableExperience opening or developing new services is advantageous.Why Join Us?Opportunity to earn a discretionary bonusA referral scheme that could earn you up to £1,000*.Career development opportunities.A variety of employee benefits including Blue Light discounts, early pay on demand, and a company pension scheme.About AgincareAgincare is proudly celebrating 40 years of caring for communities.
