Early Years Course Leader (Tutor) Start date Mon 4 January 2027 Part time, 0.5 time, 18.5 hours per week, potentially with more hours available based on learner recruitment £Burton on Trent, Town Centre Campus Burton and South Derbyshire College is seeking a dedicated individual to join the team as a Level 2 Early Years Course Leader. The role involves leading and delivering a variety of subjects tailored to early childhood education, focusing on nurturing the development of children from infancy to early school years. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact, by providing high-quality early childhood education. You will have experience of course leadership or have relevant industry experience and knowledge in early childhood development theories and EYFS frameworks, including knowledge of relevant educational frameworks and regulations. Be passionate about providing high-quality teaching, learning, assessment, and internal moderation across a range of Early Years courses. Understand legislation, nutrition, play and physical activity in the Early Years sector. A degree or equivalent qualification in Early Childhood Education or Primary Education related experience is highly preferred. Experience in designing and implementing engaging and age-appropriate learning activities for young children is advantageous Applicants should be qualified to, or willing to work towards, Level 2 English and Maths.
