Early Years Stronger Practice Adviser for Childminder Provision

- Full and relevant Level 3 qualification

- Thorough, up-to-date knowledge of the EYFS, including prime/specific learning areas, safeguarding, and assessment expectations

- Minimum 3 years' experience as a childminder or in a childminder setting (or recent childminder experience if currently in a group-based setting or Local Authority role)

- Currently working in an early years setting rated Ofsted 'Good' or 'Outstanding' (or expected standard under new framework) with children aged 0–4

- Leadership experience within early years provision

- Experience mentoring or coaching childminders, assistants, or educators and modelling best practice

- Able to communicate effectively across both face-to-face and virtual settings to suit different learning styles.

- Able to partner closely with the EYSPA Lead, local authorities, and peer childminders to raise standards across the sector
