Locum Band 7 Echocardiographer in Kent Temporary Staffing Agency (TSA) is recruiting an experienced Band 7 Echocardiographer to join an NHS Trust in Kent on a locum basis. Start Date: 24th August 2026 End Date: 13th November 2026 Location: Kent Working Pattern: Full Time The Echocardiographer Role This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Echocardiographer to support both Acute Services and Community Diagnostic Centres (CDCs) within a busy NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing and reporting a range of transthoracic echocardiograms, providing high-quality diagnostic assessments, and contributing to the effective delivery of cardiology services across multiple settings. You will work closely with cardiologists, cardiac physiologists, and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient care and timely diagnostic pathways. Echocardiographer Requirements Accreditation by the British Society of Echocardiography (BSE) is essential Previous experience working at Band 7 Echocardiographer level Significant experience undertaking and reporting independent echocardiograms Experience working within acute hospital services and/or Community Diagnostic Centres Excellent technical knowledge and diagnostic skills Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively Strong communication and patient care skills Experience working within a multidisciplinary team environment Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) Must have the right to work in the UK for the full duration of the assignment Apply for the Echocardiographer role For more information or to apply, please submit your cv and we will be in contact ASAP.
