- £40,000 (DOE) What You'll Do: You'll be joining a busy engineering team responsible for keeping operations running efficiently through a mix of reactive and planned maintenance.
This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same, offering real variety across site maintenance and equipment support.
Your responsibilities will include: Carrying out reactive maintenance and general repairs across the site Delivering planned preventative maintenance to minimise downtime Supporting the installation and commissioning of new machinery Working closely with production teams to reduce disruption Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation Upholding health, safety, and environmental standards at all times Contributing to continuous improvement and lean initiatives Supporting investigations and risk assessments where required What You'll Bring: Previous experience in a maintenance engineering role Electrical experience or qualifications are highly desirable A recognised engineering or trade qualification would be advantageous Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability Confidence working independently and managing your workload Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively A proactive, hands-on approach with a willingness to learn Any experience within food or regulated manufacturing environments would be beneficial Why You Should Apply: This is a great opportunity to join a stable and supportive business offering long-term career development within their engineering function.
