Electrical CAD Engineer

Electrical CAD Engineer  Pertemps are working with an established Manufacturing business based in Southampton who are recruiting for an Electrical CAD Engineer  to join their team. This is a full time, permanent position. Responsibilities as an Electrical CAD Engineer:  Collaborate closely with clients to understand technical requirements thoroughly and support the team to ensure their understanding of the project specification. Deliver high quality drawing packages including schematics, general arrangements and wiring diagrams.  Follow established technical specifications to prepare drawings to a high standard of accuracy.  Consult with engineers regarding model accuracy, design and drafting standards. Ensure drawings are accurate, up to date and in keeping within company guidelines.  Requirements: Minimum of 2 years electrical design experience Understanding of AutoCAD or Solid Works Strong understanding of electrical principles Understanding of 3 Phase electricity is desirable  Excellent eye for detail  The Electrical CAD Engineer role: Salary of £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience Monday – Friday 9am – 5.30pm 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays (rising up to 25 days with length of service) Employee Assistance Programme Birthday off If you are interested in this Electrical CAD Engineer position, please apply below or contact Jemma at Pertemps
