Electrical CAD Engineer

Electrical CAD Engineer – Office Based Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 (DOE) Location: 17 St Peters Place I Lancs I FY7 6EB We are seeking an experienced Electrical CAD Engineer to join our growing team and support the delivery of high‑quality electrical layout drawings for our projects. This is a full‑time, office‑based role, ideal for someone local who enjoys working closely with project teams and contributing to both technical design and administrative project support. Key Responsibilities * Produce accurate 2D electrical layout drawings using CAD software * Support project teams with technical drawing requirements and updates * Develop and organise the CAD design function, including creating and maintaining drawing symbols to meet client specifications * Carry out office administrative duties, including: * Compiling O&M manuals * Preparing site project folders * General project support tasks * Collaborate with internal teams to ensure drawings and documentation meet project deadlines and standards Requirements * Full working knowledge of 2D CAD software * Strong understanding of electrical installations and how they translate into technical drawings * Highly organised, with strong attention to detail * Ability to manage workload and support multiple projects * Local to the area – this role is office based * Proactive approach to improving and developing internal CAD processes What We Offer * Competitive salary £35,000 – £45,000, depending on experience * Opportunity to build and shape the CAD function within the business * Supportive team environment with long‑term development potential If you’re an experienced Electrical CAD Engineer looking for a stable, office‑based role with variety and responsibility, we’d love to hear from you.
