Electrical Design Engineer

Electrical Design Engineer Permanent Office based £55,000 - £65,000 per annum Are you an Electrical Design Engineer with experience delivering Building Services projects across the commercial, industrial or public sectors? If so, please read on... Essential skillset: Proven experience designing electrical building services systems for commercial, industrial, healthcare, education or mixed-use developments Strong understanding of LV electrical distribution, power, lighting and emergency lighting systems Experience producing electrical drawings, single line diagrams (SLDs), schematics, cable schedules and technical specifications Knowledge of BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations), Building Regulations and relevant British Standards Experience carrying out electrical calculations, including cable sizing, voltage drop, fault level and protection coordination Familiarity with lighting design, small power, fire alarm, security, data and containment systems Experience coordinating designs with mechanical engineers, architects, contractors and clients throughout all project stages Proficient in AutoCAD, with experience using Revit and Amtech/Trimble ProDesign or similar electrical design software being advantageous Full UK driving licence and willingness to undertake occasional UK site visits
