We are seeking a team leader for the Electrical, Electronics Components Engineering team. You will drive the delivery of robust, cost-effective and compliant electrical and electronic components across our product programmes.
As the team leader you will provide technical leadership and strategic direction for the EEC function, driving capability development, resource planning and delivery performance. You will lead the team in meeting programme objectives while maintaining compliance with regulatory, functional safety, cybersecurity, quality and manufacturing requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & People Management
Lead and develop a team of component engineers
Adopt a high performance culture focused on engineering excellence, collaboration and continuous improvement.
Define team objectives, priorities and resource allocation to support successful programme delivery.
Technical Leadership
Provide technical leadership for component engineering activities
Oversee the development and approval of component specifications, validation plans and key engineering deliverables
Ensure compliance with functional safety, cybersecurity, EMC, environmental and homologation requirements, supporting risk analysis and effective issue resolution throughout product development.
Programme & Project Delivery
Lead the successful delivery of component development activities across multiple motorcycle programmes.
Monitor programme progress, resources and risks, providing technical leadership and escalation support to resolve complex engineering, supplier and delivery challenges.
Drive effective planning, change management and risk mitigation, ensuring robust development strategies and clear reporting of project status, resource requirements and key programme risks.
Supplier & Stakeholder Management
Develop and maintain strong relationships with global suppliers and engineering partners.
Lead supplier engagement, performance reviews and technical discussions to drive continuous improvement and effective issue resolution.
Skills & Experience Required:
Beng or Meng in electrical/Electronic Engineering or related Discipline
Significant experience with the automotive, motorcycle, industrial or related engineering sectors.
Proven experience leading and developing engineering teams.
Strong Electrical & Electrotonic component background.
Experience managing supplier relationships.
Experience delivering engineering projects
Strong understanding of component verification and validation methodologies.
Experience of risk management techniques including FMEA and FTA.
Hours of Work: Our 39-hour working week (Monday to Friday) includes core hours of 9:00am to 4:00pm, flexible start and finish times, and an early 1:00pm finish on Fridays.
