Electrical Engineer – Industrial Building Maintenance Location: Coventry Job Type: Temporary – 3 Months Pay Rate: £22.27 per hour Potential: Temp to Perm Our client, a leading facilities management provider, is currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their team working within a busy industrial environment .

The initial contract will run for 3 months , with the potential for the position to become permanent for the right candidate.
The role will involve carrying out a combination of planned and reactive electrical maintenance , alongside general building maintenance across the site.
This is an ideal opportunity for an electrically qualified engineer who enjoys a varied role and is confident working in an industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site.
Diagnose and repair electrical faults.
Complete electrical inspections, testing and remedial works.
Maintain lighting, power supplies, distribution boards and associated electrical systems.
Carry out general building maintenance and fabric repairs where required.
Respond to maintenance requests and breakdowns in a timely manner.
Complete PPMs in line with the site maintenance schedule.
Identify potential faults and maintenance requirements before they become issues.
Work alongside other engineers and contractors on site.
Ensure all works are completed safely and in accordance with relevant regulations and procedures.
Maintain accurate records of works completed.
Requirements City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 Electrical qualification or equivalent.
18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
Previous experience working as an Electrical Engineer within a commercial, industrial or facilities management environment.
Strong fault-finding and electrical maintenance experience.
Comfortable carrying out a mixture of electrical and general building maintenance.
Good understanding of health & safety requirements.
Able to work independently and as part of a wider maintenance team.
A proactive approach with good communication skills.
