Are you an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer ready to take ownership of critical plant systems and accelerate your career across a complex, high-performing industrial environment? This is your opportunity to step into a role where your electrical expertise directly impacts production, reliability, and continuous improvement across a large-scale, multi-process site. Joining a large timber company, you’ll be part of a business investing heavily in its UK operations, modernising equipment, upgrading infrastructure, and pushing for world‑class engineering standards. Due to sustained growth and major site development, they’re looking for an Electrical Engineer who thrives in a plant environment and enjoys fault finding under pressure, improving system performance, and expanding into a truly multi‑skilled engineer. Working alongside an experienced engineering team, you’ll be hands‑on with a wide range of industrial systems across sawmilling, timber treatment, and biomass energy operations. From maintaining and optimising PLC‑controlled machinery to driving reliability improvements and reducing downtime, your role will be central to keeping the plant running at peak efficiency. You’ll benefit from structured training, exposure to diverse plant systems, and clear progression pathways within a global organisation that values its engineers.
