Electrical Engineer Location: Saffron Walden, Essex Salary: £46,000 Hours: Monday to Friday Benefits: Free On-Site Parking About the Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join the engineering team at a prestigious research and commercial campus in Saffron Walden. Duties & Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical systems Fault find and repair lighting, power, emergency lighting, and electrical distribution systems Support the maintenance of mechanical building services and associated plant where required Conduct routine plant room inspections and ensure equipment is operating efficiently Complete maintenance records and update CAFM systems accurately Liaise with contractors and the wider engineering team to ensure works are completed to a high standard Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and site procedures Identify opportunities for remedial works and continuous improvements About You Fully qualified Electrician (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent) Previous experience within commercial building maintenance Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills Good understanding of building services systems and plant A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and support the wider team Reliable, proactive, and able to build strong working relationships Excellent communication and customer service skills What's on Offer £46,000 salary Monday to Friday working hours Free on-site parking Static-site role at a modern research and commercial campus Ongoing training and career development Supportive engineering team with excellent long-term career prospects TPBN1_UKTJ
