Electrical Engineer - Shift Engineer

Shift Electrical Engineer Shift Pattern 3 Shift (6-2, 2-10, 10-6) Monday to Friday Salary: £45,000 to £52,000 Pension Overtime Benefits Location: The Role Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across manufacturing equipment. Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults quickly and effectively. Fault finding on PLC-controlled machinery. Troubleshooting electrical safety circuits and relay logic. Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical drawings. Supporting continuous improvement projects and equipment upgrades. Collaborating with production teams to minimise machine downtime. ONC (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering. Strong electrical fault-finding experience within a manufacturing environment. Experience with: o PLC fault diagnosis o Three-phase motor control o Relay logic o AC & DC variable speed drives o Electrical safety circuits o Sensors (proximity, optical etc.) Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
