We're Hiring: Electrical Engineer 🚨 🔌⚡ 📍 South Oxfordshire 💷 £45,000 + Benefits 🕒 Full Time | Permanent We're looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a leading UK Facilities Management provider, supporting a large and complex estate in Oxfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a professional engineering team, delivering high-quality maintenance services across a busy operational environment. You'll play a key role in ensuring electrical systems remain safe, compliant and fully operational through a combination of planned and reactive maintenance. ⚡ What you'll be doing: 🔧 Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a wide range of electrical systems ⚙️ Diagnosing faults quickly and carrying out effective repairs to minimise downtime 💡 Maintaining lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting, control systems and associated electrical infrastructure 🛠️ Supporting small electrical installations, upgrades and continuous improvement projects 📋 Completing maintenance documentation and compliance records accurately 🦺 Ensuring all work is carried out in line with current Health & Safety legislation, statutory compliance and company procedures 🤝 Working closely with a multi-skilled engineering team to deliver an efficient maintenance service 🚨 Responding promptly to electrical breakdowns while maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service 👷‍♂️ What we're looking for: 🔹 Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer within Facilities Management, Building Services or a similar maintenance environment 🔹 18th Edition Wiring Regulations 🔹 Strong fault-finding, diagnostic and electrical maintenance skills 🔹 Experience carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance 🔹 Good understanding of electrical compliance, safe systems of work and industry regulations 🔹 Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative engineering team 🔹 Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills ⭐ Desirable: ✅ Experience working within public sector environments or large, complex estates ✅ Experience supporting critical building services infrastructure ✅ Knowledge of CAFM or maintenance management systems 💼 What's on offer: 💷 Competitive salary of £45,000 🏢 Stable, permanent role with a leading UK Facilities Management provider ⚡ Opportunity to work across a prestigious and technically challenging estate 📈 Excellent long-term career prospects and progression opportunities 🎓 Ongoing training and professional development 🤝 Supportive team environment within a well-established organisation ⚡ If you're an experienced Electrical Engineer with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations looking for your next challenge within a professional Facilities Management environment, we'd love to hear from you
