The Job Youll Do; Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for projects, including materials, labour, and other associated costs.
Review project specifications and drawings to provide accurate and competitive bids.
Work closely with sales and engineering, ensuring the smooth handover of won projects.
Evaluate project requirements, scope of work, and technical details to ensure that all estimates are comprehensive and aligned with customer expectations.
Monitor project budgets during the tender phase and ensure that all estimates are kept within defined limits.
Maintain accurate records of all estimates, tenders, and communications.
Provide detailed reports to senior management and stakeholders on project performance and costing accuracy.
Keep up to date with market trends, competitor pricing, and new technologies to ensure estimates remain competitive and current.
Identify and evaluate risks associated with pricing and project delivery, proposing solutions to mitigate these risks.
About You; NVQ Level 3 or above in an electrical discipline (desirable) or equivalent industry experience Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate estimates.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong negotiation and communication skills. xwzovoh
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
