Electrical Shift Technician - Flagship Tower Salary: £55,000 + Excellent Overtime Opportunities Site: Static - City of London Shift: Continental Days and nights We are seeking a proactive Shift Maintenance Technician with an electrical background to join an on-site Facilities Management team at a premier high-rise commercial tower. What You'll Bring Electrical Systems: Maintain low-voltage (LV) power distribution, floor distribution boards, lighting controls (DALI/KNX), emergency lighting, and small power systems across all floors. Mechanical & HVAC Support: Conduct routine checks, belt changes, and basic fault finding on air handling units (AHUs), fan coil units (FCUs), pumps, pressurisation units, and water treatment systems. Building Management System (BMS): Monitor the BMS to track plant status, adjust temperature/flow setpoints, and respond to environmental alarms. Life Safety Systems: Assist with weekly testing and routine inspections of fire alarms, sprinkler booster pumps, and smoke extract systems. Tenant & Building Reactive Calls: Respond promptly to daily tenant requests, temperature complaints, and minor building services faults. Safe Systems of Work: Ensure all work is carried out following RAMS, Permit to Work, and Lockout/Tagout procedures. Requirements NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations (Essential) + 18th Edition Experience in commercial office spaces HVAP training provided Randstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
