Looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer role where you can make a real impact on plant reliability and continuous improvement? We're recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturer operating from a modern, highly automated production facility in Lancashire.
This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically biased engineer who enjoys fault finding, preventative maintenance and continuous improvement within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll be part of a close-knit engineering team responsible for keeping production running safely, efficiently and reliably while contributing to ongoing engineering projects and plant improvements.
The Role As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining a wide range of production machinery and site assets, ensuring maximum uptime and reliability.
Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repairs.
Electrical fault finding and first-time fixes across production machinery.
Diagnosing faults on electrical control systems, motors, drives, sensors and associated equipment.
Supporting mechanical maintenance activities where required as part of a multi-skilled engineering team.
Supporting engineering projects, machinery upgrades and capital investment.
Maintaining engineering spares and ensuring critical stock levels are available.
Working closely with production teams to maximise equipment availability.
Recognised Electrical Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
Experience within manufacturing, production or FMCG environments.
Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Experience with motors, inverters, sensors, control circuits and industrial electrical systems.
Ability to read electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
PLC fault-finding experience would also be advantageous. What's on Offer £48,000 per annum (including shift allowance)
Monday-Friday rotating triple shift:
