Electrical Maintenance Engineer |South Elmsall | £21.32 per hour (Days) | £24.52 per hour (Nights) Annual Bonus Overtime | Continental Shift Pattern Days & Nights We are recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer on behalf of a leading UK retailer due to continued growth.

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and repairing state of the art automated warehouse equipment and systems, ensuring operations run safely, efficiently and reliably within a 24/7 operation.Key responsibilities as Electrical Maintenance Engineer: Fault-find, diagnose and repair PLC-controlled equipment to minimise downtime.
Carry out planned preventative maintenance on pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors and robotic systems.
Maintain warehouse plant, materials handling equipment and building management systems.
Respond to equipment failures, investigate issues and liaise with relevant teams.
Complete health and safety checks, inspections, risk assessments and accident investigations.
Maintain organised workshops, stores, spares and designated maintenance areas.
Work safely at heights of up to 20m, with appropriate training provided.
Shift Pattern You'll work 3-4 shifts per week with a combination of day and night shifts with a break in between days and nights as follows: 6:00am 6:30pm / 6:00pm 6:30am This shift pattern provides a great work-life balance, with regular days off throughout the week.
To be successful in thisElectrical Maintenance Engineer role, you will have: Level 3 Apprentice qualification Previous electrical maintenance experience within a manufacturing, logistics or FMCG environment Knowledge of PLCs will be advantageous but not essential (Siemens S7 used) Exposure to robotics would be useful as you will working with robotic shuttles and picking equipment PC literate is required in order to record maintenance Preventative and reactive maintenance skills are required Demonstrable experience of working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Benefits and working environment Annual Bonus Scheme Company Pension Generous Annual Leave Staff discount on multiple brand names!
