Electrical Maintenance Operative

We're looking for a qualified, proactive Electrical Maintenance Operative to join a growing team in a company based in the Storage sector. You'll carry out planned and reactive maintenance across UK facilities — self-storage units, office complexes, and retail parades — working independently and as part of a team. Working hours are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (08:00–16:30). Duties and Responsibilities * Carry out routine and reactive maintenance, inspections, and repairs. * Diagnose faults and complete effective repairs using appropriate tools and techniques. * Work safely in line with safety standards, Permit to Work systems, and incident reporting procedures. * Maintain safe, clean, and compliant working environments. * Accurately record completed work and associated costs using our internal systems. Candidate Specification * Qualified electrician with completed apprenticeship. * NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent). * 18th Edition Electrical Regulations certification. * IPAF licence. * Full UK driving licence. * Solid understanding of health and safety practices, including risk assessments. * Ability to work independently and manage your workload to meet our KPIs and SLAs. * Confident with IT systems for logging work and maintaining records. * Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
