Electrical & Mechanical Fitter

The Company An established and progressive engineering manufacturer currently experiencing continued growth, offering an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking business. Our client is looking to recruit an Electrical & Mechanical Fitter to join their production team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with electrical and/or mechanical assembly experience to join a well-established manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities * Electrical and mechanical assembly of components * Read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly instructions. * Wiring and power supply assembly * Build wiring looms and cable assemblies. * Mechanical fitting, including cutting, drilling and tapping * Assemble mechanical components and cooling systems. * Carry out testing and self-inspection to ensure quality standards are met. * Complete relevant production documentation. * Work closely with colleagues to achieve production targets while maintaining high quality and safety standards. Key Requirements * Previous experience in electrical and/or mechanical assembly within a manufacturing or engineering environment * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. * Experience using hand tools and measuring equipment. * Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality. * Able to work independently and as part of a team. * Experience with wiring looms or cable assemblies. * Soldering and/or brazing experience. * Experience working within a production or engineering environment. * Commute to Rugby easily What's on Offer * Competitive salary. * Company pension. * Annual discretionary bonus. * Employee benefits programme. * Additional holiday purchase scheme. * Employee Assistance Programme. * Permanent, full-time opportunity with an early finish on Fridays.
