We are recruiting on behalf of a growing compliance and maintenance organisation for an experienced

Electrical Supervisor

to oversee electrical maintenance, testing, inspection and certification activities across a varied property portfolio.

This is a leadership role where you will provide technical guidance to electricians, supervisors and apprentices, ensuring all work is delivered safely, efficiently and in line with current regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support a team of engineers, supervisors and trainees. Act as the technical lead for electrical compliance, testing and certification. Carry out site inspections, quality audits and technical reviews. Review and approve electrical certification and reports. Ensure compliance with BS 7671 and other relevant standards. Monitor service delivery against contractual and compliance targets. Deliver toolbox talks, mentoring and competency assessments. Investigate technical issues, defects and non-conformances. Support health & safety compliance and safe working practices. Prepare quotations, variations and material requirements where necessary. Requirements

NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Installation or equivalent. AM2 qualification. Completed electrical apprenticeship. C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent). 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. Proven experience in a Qualified Supervisor, Compliance Supervisor or similar role. Strong knowledge of inspection, testing, emergency lighting, PAT and electrical maintenance. Experience supervising engineers and reviewing certification. Good IT skills, including Microsoft 365 and certification systems. Desirable

SMSTS, IOSH or NEBOSH qualification. Knowledge of CDM regulations. Experience within social housing, property maintenance or other regulated sectors. What Success Looks Like
