Electrician

Electrician  Pertemps are recruiting for an Electrician to join a leading school based near Andover. This is a full time permanent position. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, inspection, testing and repair of electrical systems and equipment across the site.  Responsibilities as an Electrician:  Assemble, install, test, certify and maintain electrical wiring, equipment and appliances.  Install and maintain three phase and single phase control gear for motors, pumps and fans.  Inspect, diagnose, test systems.  Assist IT Department with wiring and cabling. Carry out PAT testing.  Plan and coordinate routine electrical testing.  Maintain records of all testing and certification.  Ensure the school is fully registered with NICEIC or similar regulatory body. Requirements:  Qualified Electrician Good working knowledge of installation BS 7671  Level 3 qualification for inspection, testing and installation  Experience of EICR Ability to work to RAMS Capable of emergency electrical triage  Own transport due to rural location  The Role:  Competitive salary - £33,000 - £40,000 negotiable depending on experience  Monday – Friday, 7am – 3.30pm  28 days holiday plus bank holidays  If you have the required skills and are interested in this Electrician role, please apply below or contact Jemma at Pertemps
