Electrician – Social Housing Repairs Locations: Gloucester, Swindon, Warminster & surrounding areas Coverage: Up to a 90-minute radius Hours: Monday–Friday, 39 hours per week + out-of-hours call-out rota We are currently recruiting for Electricians to join an established social housing repairs and maintenance contract, covering responsive electrical works across domestic properties. This is a long-term, stable opportunity offering consistent work, a company van and fuel card, paid call-outs and excellent benefits. The Role You will be responsible for carrying out electrical repairs, fault finding, testing and certification within occupied social housing properties. Duties will include: Fault finding and responsive electrical repairs MCB and circuit breaker replacements Rewires Emergency and external lighting Switches and minor installations Shower repairs and replacements Smoke alarms and extractor fans Testing, inspection and re-certification Completing electrical certification for all works Working from job tickets or a handheld device Providing a professional service to customers in their homes Working in line with health and safety procedures Requirements * NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent * 18th Edition * AM2 * 2391-52 or equivalent * BS7671:2018 * Previous social housing or refurbishment experience is preferred * NICEIC registration is advantageous * Full UK driving licence * DBS check required Experience or qualifications in Solar PV, EV charging, battery storage, domestic ventilation or PAS 2030 retrofit would also be advantageous.
