This is an excellent opportunity to work for an established company, and we are now looking to recruit electricians to cover clients throughout Northern a variety of tasks, primarily carrying out inspection and testing of electrical installations but also ranging from planned maintenance of emergency lighting systems, small installation projects and reactive & breakdown works, we are looking for electricians with a wide variety of experience and are looking for candidates with a can-do attitude and a dedicated, methodical approach to their work and carry out their duties in a safe manner.
Your new role This is a full-time and permanent opportunity, working on a mobile basis on sites across Northern Ireland.
- Covering a portfolio of sites.- Perform thorough Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) on electrical systems and equipment.- Inspect and test installations, circuits, and equipment for compliance with current regulations.- Document findings and prepare detailed reports for clients.- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, colleagues, and management.- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues effectively.- Ensure all work complies with industry regulations, standards, and health & safety protocols.- Keep testing equipment calibrated, maintained, and in good working order.- Responding to planned, reactive and repair work orders given by the helpdesk team within the specified time.- Carrying out all aspects of Electrical Maintenance tasks using your own initiative to fault-find, evaluate & repair.- Small project installation works.- Comply with health and safety policies/legislation.- Providing a good level of customer service to peers and contract holders.
What you'll need to succeed
- We are keen to speak to Engineers who are electrically qualified to C&G Level 3 in electrical installation and 18th Edition IEE Regs.- Experience in periodic inspection and testing of electrical installations as well as C&G 2391 or 2394 & 2395 qualifications- Electricians who have experience working within commercial environments, carrying out all areas of maintenance and minor remedial tasks.- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.- UK Driving licence.- Ability to work independently and unsupervised.- CSR Card preferable- Sparksafe LTP preferable What you'll get in return Company van Mobile phone Pension Training where required Support & Training where required Over-time paid hours Flexible holidays 28 days leave increasing over 2 years (29 days following 1 year' service & 30 days following 2 years' service) What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
