Electrician

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrician for a job at Salisbury Hospital installing LED lighting. Applicants must hold a valid JIB Gold card. Duties Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment using hand tools and power tools Conduct routine maintenance on electrical systems to prevent failures and ensure optimal performance Read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals accurately Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes and safety standards Diagnose electrical issues efficiently and implement effective solutions promptly Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and installations for documentation purposes Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to complete projects safely and on schedule Requirements Proven experience working with electrical systems in commercial or industrial settings Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, as well as power tools like drills and saws Strong electrical experience with the ability to read technical drawings and schematics Knowledge of local electrical codes and safety regulations Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail Valid electricians license or certification as required by local regulations is preferred Join us to bring your electrical expertise into a vibrant environment where your skills will make a real impact!
