Are you a qualified Electrician looking for a role where your skills make a real difference to customers every day? We're recruiting on behalf of a leading housing provider for an experienced Electrician to join their Property Services team, covering West Dorset. The Role Working across domestic properties, you'll carry out a range of electrical installations, inspection and testing, repairs and maintenance to a high standard, ensuring all work complies with current regulations and company standards. You'll receive your work electronically via a PDA and will work independently while being fully supported by an experienced management team. Key Responsibilities Carry out domestic electrical installations, repairs and maintenance. Complete inspection and testing in accordance with British Standards. Diagnose electrical faults and undertake remedial works. Complete all certification and electronic job records accurately. Deliver outstanding customer service while working within customers' homes. Work safely and comply with all Health & Safety and electrical regulations. Liaise with colleagues to ensure works are completed efficiently. Participate in the out-of-hours standby rota. About You We're looking for someone with: AM2 qualification (or equivalent). City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent). Proven experience in domestic electrical installations. Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills. Strong customer service and communication skills. Good IT skills and confidence using handheld devices. Full UK Driving Licence. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to undertake face-fit testing.
