Electrician – Social Housing Reactive MaintenanceLocation: North West London Contract: Permanent, Full-Time Salary: £46,000 per annum Vehicle: Company van & fuel card provided Sector: Social Housing / Housing Association We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrician to join a social housing repairs and maintenance team covering North West London. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician looking for a secure, permanent position carrying out reactive electrical repairs, maintenance, testing and fault finding across occupied social housing properties. The RoleYour day-to-day work will involve electrical repairs, maintenance, testing and fault finding across domestic social housing properties. Key duties include: Carrying out reactive electrical repairs within occupied social housing properties Fault finding and diagnostics on domestic electrical systems Completing EICRs, testing and inspection works Identifying electrical defects and completing remedial works General domestic electrical maintenance and repairs Using a PDA/handheld device to manage and update jobs Working professionally within tenants' homes Maintaining high standards of workmanship, cleanliness and customer service Managing your own daily workloadSocial Housing ExperiencePrevious experience within social housing, housing associations, council properties or domestic reactive maintenance is highly desirable. You will be working directly in residents' homes, so a professional, respectful and customer-focused approach is essential.
