Tennial Personnel are recruiting Electromechanical Assemblers to join a leading manufacturing business based in Risby, Suffolk. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and innovative engineering business on an ongoing temporary basis for a minimum of 2 months, with the potential to be offered a permanent contract dependent on individual performance and business requirements. The role requires a solid technical background, experience working with precision hand tools, and the ability to build high-quality electromechanical products to strict safety and quality standards. Previous experience of electrical testing, particularly testing three-phase manufactured equipment, will be advantageous. Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM Key Responsibilities: Assemble electromechanical products and components in accordance with engineering drawings, work instructions, and production specifications Carry out mechanical assembly and component installation Use precision hand tools to assemble products to high safety and quality standards Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and assembly documentation Carry out in-process quality inspections to ensure products meet required specifications Assist with electrical testing, fault finding, and inspection of completed units where required Accurately complete production and quality documentation Identify and report assembly, quality, or technical issues promptly Follow all health and safety procedures and company quality standards Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment Support the wider production team with additional duties as required Skills Required Strong technical aptitude with excellent attention to detail Confident using precision hand tools and assembly equipment Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and wiring diagrams Good problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to work Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organisational and communication skills Reliable, punctual, and committed to producing work to a consistently high standard Qualifications Required Previous experience in electromechanical assembly or a similar engineering/manufacturing role is essential Experience of mechanical assembly and electrical wiring is essential Previous experience of electrical testing is advantageous Experience testing three-phase manufactured equipment would be highly beneficial Relevant engineering, mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing qualifications are desirable but not essential Understanding of health and safety procedures within a manufacturing environment Keywords Electromechanical Assembly Electrical Testing Assembly
