This role is part of an

award-winning HR team , in a progressive housing provider, who are dedicated to creating thriving, secure communities.

They are seeking a proactive, insightful

Employee Relations Specialist , who will act as trusted advisor and coach to managers across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include: Managing an ER caseload covering: performance, conduct, attendance, grievance, flexible working requests (approx 15 cases at any one time) Providing practical, legally sound advice to managers, to reduce organisational risk and support fair outcomes. Ownership of all things absence and attendance, including monitoring trigger points and reporting, long term absence cases, etc. Coaching managers and running training sessions, so they can handle people matters early, constructively, and with confidence. Analysing ER case trends to identify risks and implement preventative solutions.

This is a

hybrid role

dividing your time 50/50 between your local office and working from home - if you're reading this, your local office is likely to be

central Bradford .

What you need: CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent hands-on experience. Strong track record

managing complex ER casework

in a complex multi-site environment. In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and its practical application, and experience preparing cases for tribunal Excellent written communication and coaching skills, with the ability to challenge constructively. Experience within housing, care, or a regulated sector is advantageous but not essential.
