Employment Paralegal and Personal Assistant
An established and highly regarded regional law firm is looking for an Employment Paralegal / Personal Assistant to join its Employment team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Law Graduate, Legal Administrator, Paralegal or Legal PA with an interest in Employment Law to join a busy and supportive team.
The role offers the opportunity to develop your legal knowledge and, with appropriate training and supervision, progress towards managing your own caseload.

You will provide a combination of legal, paralegal and administrative support to solicitors within the Employment team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing day-to-day support to Employment fee earners
- Opening and managing new matters on the case management system
- Maintaining accurate electronic and paper files
- Supporting solicitors with employment cases
- Preparing legal documents, correspondence and reports
- Carrying out legal research and preparing summaries
- Liaising with clients, counsel, tribunals and third parties
- Assisting with Employment Tribunal claims and hearings
- Supporting the preparation of hearing bundles
- Assisting with billing and time recording
- Managing key dates and deadlines
- Supporting matters from initial instruction through to completion
With training and appropriate supervision, you will have the opportunity to:
- Prepare your own client correspondence
- Draft employment documentation
- Work on contracts, settlement agreements and policies
- Develop your knowledge of employment legislation and procedures
- Progress towards managing your own caseload
- Get involved in client seminars and business development activity
The ideal candidate will have either a Law Degree or previous experience within a legal administration, paralegal or PA role, ideally within an Employment Law environment. xwzovoh
