Employment Partner / Senior Employment Solicitor

The Opportunity
We are working with a well-established and growing law firm looking to appoint an experienced Employment Partner or Senior Employment Solicitor to support the continued growth of its employment team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious employment lawyer with strong technical expertise, commercial awareness and a proven ability to develop client relationships and generate new business.
The Role
You will advise businesses and individuals across a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, including:
- Advising on unfair dismissal, discrimination and other employment disputes.
- Managing employment tribunal matters from initial advice through to hearing.
- Drafting and reviewing contracts, policies and employment documentation.
- Preparing tribunal documentation, witness statements and trial bundles.
- Attending Preliminary Hearings and dealing with case management.
- Advising on employment issues arising from corporate transactions, including TUPE.
- Working alongside corporate and commercial teams on transactional matters.
- Developing existing client relationships and generating new business.
- Attending networking and business development events to raise the profile of the team.
- Keeping up to date with changes in employment law and advising clients accordingly.
About You
The ideal candidate will have significant employment law experience, strong tribunal experience and a proven track record in business development and/or building a client following.
You should also have excellent communication skills, commercial awareness and the ambition to play an active role in the continued growth of the department.
