Are you passionate about helping people overcome barriers and achieve sustainable employment? We are looking for an Employment Specialist to join our Connect to Work team in Somerset, supporting individuals with health conditions and disabilities to find and retain meaningful work.
As an Employment Specialist, the successful candidate will manage a caseload of participants, providing personalised advice, guidance and practical support to help them achieve their employment goals. The role involves building strong relationships with local employers, identifying suitable job opportunities, and working closely with health and community partners to deliver holistic, person-centred support.
The successful candidate will be confident engaging with customers, motivating them to overcome challenges, and supporting their progression into sustainable employment. They will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, achieving performance and quality targets, and delivering an excellent customer experience throughout every stage of the journey.

In return for your dedication, knowledge, and commitment, we’re offering a competitive salary range £26,000 to £29,545 per annum (dependent on experience) with these great benefits:

Location: Somerset
Hours: 37 hours a week. Monday to Thursday 8.30 am to 5pm, Friday 8.30 am to 4.30pm
Contract: Permanent

Key Resposibilites
* Manage a caseload of participants, providing tailored support to help them move into sustainable employment.
* Conduct assessments and develop personalised Action Plans to overcome barriers to work.
* Achieve performance, quality, compliance, and customer service targets.
* Build strong relationships with local employers and identify suitable job opportunities.
* Support participants with job applications, interviews, and in-work support.
* Work with partner organisations and specialist services to provide holistic support.
* Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with data protection and safeguarding requirements.
* Champion best practice and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
* Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role
